Testimonials

Camila Sanchez-Siles:

What is your knowledge of international markets?” was one of the questions I got when interviewing for my dream summer internship. I immediately thought about the projects I've worked on in the past, especially the SIBC projects I have been a part of. Having the opportunity to explain and share my knowledge on the Wi’am project and the Palestinian market made me realize how the International Division of SIBC has opened doors that I would have never imagined. I am a student coming from Bolivia who made her dream come true of working for the International Department at NASCAR. It was one of the best experiences of my life!

Ella Haley:

Not only did I really enjoy the projects I led in the International Division, but I also gained invaluable skills that were extremely beneficial in my search for a consulting internship. I learned how to problem solve, work on a team, and communicate with both my team members and international contacts. In every interview I did last year, I discussed my experiences with the International Division. I felt confident walking into each interview knowing that there were so many different situations I could discuss and bring up. I would recommend joining an International project because they are super fun and will really prepare you for interviews.

Amanda Abner:

I vividly remember during my Goldman Sachs Superday when my interviewer asked, “So tell me about this SIBC International experience. I have never seen this listed on a resume before. What is it?” This simple question sparked an amazing conversation between us. I was able to tell her about all the projects I was leading in areas all around the world including Japan, South Korea, Palestine, Ghana, and Russia. It turns out that she had experience working internationally, so we immediately had that connection. Within the next few days, I was offered a summer internship at Goldman Sachs in their headquarters office in New York City! I could not recommend SIBC International enough. The number of opportunities and global connections I have been able to make during my time as director has been invaluable. Please consider joining today!
